This song was unlocked by a memory of a photograph taken at the fair. The image of a past relationship that was supposed to be destroyed with the rest of the memories came up unexpectedly and through that came flooding every moment spent at that fair and the ups and downs we experienced.

The grounds we once walked together, I now walk alone while he walks them with someone new and has me questioning how real our connection was when we had it.

But life must go on. So why do I care?
